This box will take you to the heart of the most famous French wine region where the greatest wines in the world are developed. Welcome to Bordeaux also described as «la perle de l’Aquitaine” (pearl of Aquitaine). This box contains 3 tubes of 100ml.

CHÂTEAU BELLEROSE FIGEAC

SAINT-ÉMILION –PREMIER GRAND CRU CLASSÉ

Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon. 13,0% vol. 100 ml

TASTING:

Purple in colour, this wine, with a large majority of Merlot, reveals its magnificence with a nose full of panache and fruits. On the palate, silky notes evolve with an elegant structure and harmonious tannins.

WINEMAKER:

Château Bellerose Figeac is produced on the plot near the Château Figeac, on a terroir of ancient sands with a high iron content. 100% aged in barrels.

FOOD PAIRING:

Grilled meats, mushroom dishes and soft cheeses.

CHÂTEAU KIRWAN

MARGAUX –GRAND CRU CLASSÉ

Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot. 13,0% vol. 100 ml

TASTING:

This wine is powerful, deep and earthy with hints of toasted wood and ripe black cherries.

WINEMAKER:

Schÿller family since 1925. This wine takes its power and delicacy from the gravelly soil on the Cantenac plateau. Grapes harvested at full maturity reveal the authenticity of the region and the personality of this Margaux, producing a well balanced wine between structure and elegance.

FOOD PAIRING:

Roasted or braised red meat, matured cheeses with character and strong aromas.

CHÂTEAU SAINT MARC

GRAVES «LION BLANC DE SAINT-MARC»

Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc et Gris. 12,5% vol. 100 ml

TASTING:

Round body, complex aromatic palate with a rich and lively character.

WINEMAKER:

Didier Laulan is the manager of the Château which is in the hands of the same family for several generations. He mastered the art of blending, which has given pedigree to the wine. In 2009 his nephew, Guillaume Forcade, took over the property.

FOOD PAIRING:

Perfect for an aperitif, with tapas, fish and white meat.
